Type of a scam Online Purchase

On December 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025, I made two purchases from the website of S&P Liquor Store, based in Hawthorne, CA. A few days later, the charges in the same amounts appeared on my credit card under the name "Urban Gear". I called American Express to inquire, and they informed me that Urban Gear and S&P Liquor were the same company. On January 13, 2025, I received two emails from S&P Liquor saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, my orders were canceled. I waited a few days, and my credit charges were not reversed, so I tried emailing and calling the company. My emails went unanswered, and the phone number on the website reached a fax machine. I then reached out to American Express to dispute the charges. In February 2025, American Express reached out to say that the merchant had provided backup that I received my order. The "backup" provided by the merchant was a PDF of an invoice from Urban Gear (not S&P Liquor) for a blazer ordered on January 4, 2025 in the same amount as one of the two purchases with S&P, along with a tracking number from an unnamed carrier saying that the package was delivered on January 11, 2025 to my address. Everything about this PDF was fraudulent. I never placed an order with Urban Gear, and I never ordered clothing in this amount. Nothing was delivered to my house. The order date on the invoice was a day after the charge hit my credit card. The tracking number was fake and did not correspond to any tracking number for any item delivered to my house.
