Snapcommerce Misleads Consumers with reservationstays.com

Snapcommerce of Toronto operates a website called reservationstays.com that is generating a lot of complaints (see sitejabber.com) because it is misleading customers into thinking they are booking hotel stays at the hotel rather than a third party. The website has no address listed and blocks emails from some customers. The booking site refused to give me a refund even though I canceled my hotel in Spokane, Washington, more than 48 hours before the stay. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, the Arizona Attorney General's office, and with my credit card company. I have contacted an attorney at the company and have sent them copies of the complaints. I'll keep you updated. -Dr. David Demers, Phoenix, Arizona

I booked a hotel through Snaptravel during the snowmageddon in the South in February 2021. I then called the hotel to ask a few questions about amenities and the clerk indicate I had no reservation at their hotel. I asked him to confirm, citing my confirmation/booking number through snaptravel. He again confirmed he had no record of my reservation, and they had not had any rooms available for the past week. I attempted to contact Snaptravel for a refund; however, there is absolutely no way to contact them except online chat (no phone number, no email). The chat was not working, it kept giving me error messages and taking me back to the home page. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, which was denied because Snaptravel produced some refund policy that stated all I had to was simply request a refund. I tried, it was impossible and they are impossible to reach. They scammed me into booking a room that was never available in the first place, then were not possible to contact after I had paid for it. By far the worst, most infuriating travel-related booking experience I have ever had.
