Smooche has very good yet deceiving advertising on Facebook where they state their products are made in the US at 8605 Santa Monica Boulevard, PMB 44698, West Hollywood, CA 90069 and they don’t list any contact phone number. The address is actually a place called Earth Mail but when you call it says “Legal Zoom” on a recording, they don’t answer. Earth Mail has low reviews and in searching this place, lawsuit information also came up with them as the defendant. I’ve seen this before where Chinese people have created fake companies using fake addresses in the US claiming they’re located there to scam money out of people. I’ve reported SMOOCHE to the FTC and I’m very concerned because I did see reviews where a few people received lip products they were unhappy with but I’m concerned about the health implications of those products since cosmetics coming out of China are not regulated and have been known to contain high levels of bacteria and other undesirable ingredients. I don’t want anyone to get ill because obviously in lip products, you’re ingesting some more than other cosmetics. I placed an order for several lip products under the guise of them being all natural and not tested on animals etc, and I even paid extra for expedited shipping. I’ve received several notifications from DHL my items have shipped however, in tracking them it says each time they received pre shipment notification or label printed only but nothing has actually been shipped. China generally has a longer shipping time and they frequently use DHL. I’ve attempted to email them several times but I’ve not received any responses. They don’t have any other way to contact them and no phone number listed.

I’d like to know if I can file a complaint or concern about Earth Mail here combined or if I should do it separate. I’m not positive they’re involved with anything untoward but they may be a catalyst in making this fraud happen easier.
