Received text after requesting info from Bark.com for local limo service quotes. They requested card over phone which has been normal practice in past for local service. The total cost was supposed to be around $700 but only paid at time of limo service which was over a week away. They ran card right away for $350 for a “deposit”. They asked for Nora of my credit card and photos of my DL which I declined. I then canceled the service two days later after researching and realizing they’re not local and running a scam. After requesting cancelation my card was immediately ran for two separate charges $250 and $263.76. Again this was all 6 days prior to the date I was going to use a limo. The number used also connects to a handyman service which seems to run the same scam.
