Got me for $1199 on SSauserFirearmsUSA.com las week on 6/20/2022

Man, the fraudster's website looked completely legit. I really thought it was Sig.

I was a bit unnerved by the Zelle thing but everyone seems to be using it now. So, I gave it a shot.

They even sent shipping details with AmericanPostalService.com.

When the rifle didn't arrive I contacted the shipping company via email. They then wanted $500 for insurance to ship it. I actually got a reply email from both AmericanPostal and the bogus Sig site asking for the "refundable" $500 insurance fee, even though I only emailed the shipping company.

That's when I knew it was B.S.

Only then did I find this blog. Unfortunately, my bank doesn't cover fraud through Zelle. No banks do, apparently.

Welp, I guess I'm in good company.

Ordered a Sig Sauer P226 Legion RXP ($1370). Paid through a texting communication with a guy named Augustine, using Zelle. I thought this was kinda different, but the site seemed legit. Once the amount was taken out of my account, he would not answer any of my texts(there was no phone number on the website; i should have known this was definitely non-legit). DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS SITE. DEFINITELY A SCAM !

Well, I'm another duped purchaser.

I'd been looking for Sig P229 Nitron Compact.

Then this website showed up in my searches and I put in my inquiry about desired model. YES, they said, $980 at the SigSauerStore247, Demitri Pappas and cohort Alfred. Once I put my money down I've not been able to get a response from anyone.

Zelle put the payment through to [email protected] on April 16 2021, so comment above about Zelle gives me hope that I can stop others from getting duped.

Found this web-site (ssgundeals.com) while surfing through Sig Sauer’s actual website looking for a Sig sp2022. They had it priced at round about 550$. No idea how I ended up there.

But it was getting harder to find one and I figured “Hell Yeah! Let me jump on this!” Created an account on the website, filled out everything for the order and checked out. Then I though, this is kind a odd. They didn’t ask for a Credit Card. Glad they didn’t.

What happened next was a Text to my phone several hours later. “Hello,would you like to complete your order with sig sauer gun shop?”

I said “Yes.” A little while later I got this text in response. “Got zelle set up for payment?” I said “Yeah.”

Here was the remaining conversation.

“Locate quick pay with zelle and select the option to send money to an email.”

Now I know this Presidency may have some people feeling like buying a firearm is a bad look...but this was starting to sound more like a drug deal or some [censored], so I asked them to prove they were Sig. Of course they could not. Again, I thought I was on Sig’s actual legit website. I should have know better. Most of these manufacturers don’t really have stock like that atm and if they do, you can’t usually just buy out right from them like that.

Anyway. He tried. Credit to his half assed attempt at proving it wasn’t a scam. But it totally is. I asked him to cancel my order and he just said. “Yeah I already did.”

Must have known the jig was up. Just glad I didn’t commit to it before it was too late.

Same thing happening to me as I am typing this. placed and order for a Sig P320 with a Romeo site. Only pay option was Zelle. Not using something I am not familiar with. Especially after reading that there is no real protection when you use it. That was five hours ago and I just now got a text from 707-709-6480 asking if I have a Zelle account and if not they can help me check with my back and set one up. I replied that I wanted to pay with CC. The reply was, OK ple[censored]d. That was 10 minutes ago and in the meantime I googled the number and this site came up.

Just found this information and of course it’s too late, paid $979 for a Sig through Zelle and they claimed it takes 48 hours to get it. I know that information is incorrect from receiving money through Zelle. That was the first clue something was wrong. Then received an email from Sig company that said that the company is fraud. Contacted my bank and did a dispute immediately.

I was luckey to find your website before I sent them any money . I was trying to buy a gun that was very hard to find . They assured me that they had them in stock and could ship right away . I jsut got a gut feeling that this was a scam . I went as far as to contact them and they sent me all the information I needed . They wanted a Zelle payment and that is when the RED LIGHT went on . I wanted to send them a cashiers check , and they told me it had to be paid by Zelle .

Just got scammed for a very specific gun I could not locate anywhere else. Unfortunately, I didn't get to read this research info. until after the fact. I just don't understand how they continue to run a professional looking website and order process. But the Zelle aspect made me leary but I still sent the money to the damn scammers.

Please let me know if there is any way to retrieve my funds. I have contacted my bank about this incident. Thanks.

No I came within a second of paying through Zelle about five minutes ago, so they are still scamming!

Here I thought it was strange that legit stores didn’t allow PayPal but would take a personal check!

Go ahead and contact Sig. I don’t know if it will do any good. I really don't know if they care. I contacted SIG’s website about this vendor site at least 2-3 weeks ago. I left a detail comment on their customer contact site. I gave them the full details about the site mentioning that it referenced the Sig Firearms Academy, and their full Sig service maintenance facilities. I never got a response from Sig. even acknowledging my email. For those who did order through them, I am sorry, but you could have done even more research and still gotten burned. I had been looking for a specific Sig model for months. I daily searched the entire internet. When I saw that this dealer had that model, I questioned it. I sent them an email to verify that they actually had that model in stock. They replied that they had just gotten in a large shipment from Sig. I still questioned that anyone really had one so I called SIG’s Customer Service phone line. After about 20 minutes, I got a friendly Sig service agent who asked about the specific SKU number. She told me that yes that model was still in SIG’s production, and that they were still shipping them. I then thought, hey, someone out there is getting them so it could well be this vendor. The Zelle, Bitcoin or. CashApp payment methods brought me to an immediate stop. None of these methods offer any fraud security. I would have paid 6% more if they took any method of payment that offered consumer fraud security. If you contact Sig, call their Consumer Service phone number. The evidently don't pay attention to written comments.

Same thing. I had an Amex gift card I was going to use. Saw they made transactions in Tampa, FL at a Publix. Called Amex about the fraudulent transactions. Hopefully in 8 days I'll have my money back.

Tried to buy a Sig p365. Same experience. Knew it seemed sketchy. What kind of legitimate business asks for Zelle payments over the phone. Will be referring them to the FBI for wire fraud. Never gonna get my money back. Lesson learned.
