Sharelife Vacations Reports & Reviews (6)

I tried to cancel within 3 days and have yet to receive a response.
I have been on hold for more than 30 minutes with no answer by customer service.
I am not willing to stop trying to get my money back.

Was approached outside of their Sharelife shop in Las Vegas and asked to complete a 15min survey in regards to how people from my area like to vacation. My husband said no but the guy could tell we were hot and offered us water and said he would even buy dinner and it would not take long. After entering the shop, he took our information then proceeded to say after we completed the survey he would have his driver drive us to our resort but we needed to go down to their office to do it first. Since we were already in, we agreed, moreso for the ride and still he said 15 min and brief survey, showed us an example of the written survey and offered the dinner. LIES! We drove to watch a 15min video in a hot room in which they asked for a credit card as soon as we arrived( we refused to give) then they tried to sale us their package. In addition the driver REFUSED to drive us back to the resort as promised.

Approached on the street in Las Vegas, asked to take a survey and watch a short video and give our opinions on such. Assured repeatedly that this is not a time share (it isn't) and we would receive generous gifts. Don't usually fall for these things but it was hot and it seemed a chance to sit down in AC for 15 minutes. Over an hour later, we left with nothing but some worthless dining advantage coupons-- maybe good at Jersey Mikes, maybe not. They're trying to sell an expensive membership to a travel club, after watching the video (which probably is 15 minutes) you're moved up the chain to more and more aggressive sales people. Should have just walked out... don't walk in!

We were sold a b[censored] vacation membership through Sharelife, spending around $6,000 for something Tripadvisor or Priceline has for discounts. Scam!

I was listening to the radio and over heard an automated announcer say something about, “if you know what movie this is, you win a trip to Las Vegas or Orlando” something like that. He proceeded to describe the movie and it was clearly The Hangover and then he named out the options with The Hangover being one. I called the number but I took my time dialing thinking I wouldn’t get through anyways. Wrong, in a few rings I was patched through to the same automated voice from the radio and was asked for the answer. I won the prize and the automated voice said a text message would be sent to my phone to claim it. Now I’m very skeptical at this point but I proceed to wait a few moments until I got the text with the link to Sharelife Vacations. In short the offer says I won a getaway for two to Las Vegas or Orlando, a $100 Dining Advantage Card and a Bonus Trip of two nights from a choice of 30 popular destinations, all sponsored by Sharelife Vacations. Plus the offer includes guest membership to Sharelife Vacations as well. Now at the very bottom of the email it states that the offer DOES NOT include resort fees, a deposit of $150 would HAVE to be made at the time of reservation but somehow will be refunded back after I take the first trip to Vegas or Orlando, and that I’ll receive the dining card only after I go to a “brief” orientation from Sharelife Vacations at Las Vegas or Orlando. This is all a bit concerning. The email itself had some spelling errors, their website explains very little to no information about what they actually do or what they are besides a traveling club, and their social media presence is weird because their earliest post goes back only to about July of 2020 and absolutely NONE of their pictures have any comments. They claim on their website that they have decades of experience yet they seem fairly new and barely present.
