Spam email sent to my corporate work email, and corporate Microsoft Defender account flagged the email as suspicious. I can only preview the subject and sender email in the quarantine page, but I saw "invoice" in the subject line and wanted to confirm I did not miss an invoice from a new vendor, and googled the business name. The top google search result confirmed it was a scam/phishing email. I almost second guessed the spam filter because it came from what looks like the official [email protected] email address.

Phishing , email said it was from service@paypal and an invoice from Palomino Bazaar for $1,042.99. I have received 6 emails all saying they are from service@paypal , all invoices , 1 from Palomino Bazaar 5 from Grand Canyon Historical Society . All for odd amounts: $1,059.85, $1,031.81, $1,018.88

I received two emails (about 3 hours apart) from [email protected] stating that Polomino Bazaar LLc was sending me an invoice for $1,037.38 USD. The invoice provides a phone number (888-329-9080) to call if the transaction is unrecognized. Invoice number 0028. The email also provided links to "Report this invoice" and "Learn more" about common security threats and how to spot them. The email suggests, "Buy now. Pay over time." Select PayPal Credit at checkout to enjoy No Interest if paid in full in 6 months. Subject to credit approval. Link to "See terms." US customers only. At the bottom of the email there were more links to "Learn to identify phishing", "Help & Contact." and "Learn more". Copyright 1999-2025 PayPal, Inc. All rights reserved. Received email from "paypal" stating Palomino Bazaar sent me an invoice for the $1,062.99 due on receipt. Also said if it was an inrecognized transaction to call the above 888 number. The email also mentioned recognizing spam and recognizing security threats. The email also listed paypal's sanjose address.

This email includes invoice number 18020598. It looks very authentic with PayPal logo. It says "You don't have any payments with this seller in the last year." Unrecognized transaction? If this wasn't you, contact us now (888) 653-8859. It also has a button to click that says View and Pay Invoice.

Got an email invoice from "PayPal" for $1184.08 on February 26, 27, and 28, 2025. I reported to PayPal phishing. I checked my account, by logging in separately and no activity was there.

Emails from paypal saying I owe $899.99 to North Shore Community Youth Center. I do not have a paypal account. Emails have been coming for weeks. It says to:

[email protected], not my email address. Sent to spam to block email. Deleted all. Still getting email. Called the fake number, rang once then silence. Called paypal, they said there is no activity on my email. Told me others have used paypal when I made payments to them. Said to delete them which I have been doing. Thanks!
