Scammer offered employment for a remote position. Claiming they only use certain banks for direct deposit and mine was not one and then said they can use a credit card but needs to know the limit of the credit card in order to know the limit of funds they can deposit all while using the "signal" messaging app. Said opening a new bank account with a regular bank would not work as it takes too long to process transfer.

We searched for a phone number through google about cash app IRS Refund Direct Deposit and came across the above named website and phone number. When my family called the number, the scammer had him to download the AnyDesk app. The scammer was able to access my family member CashApp information and unlinked the email, bank acct etc. Then replaced the original $cashtag with a similar one to the original. Now, my family member cannot access the original cash app account. The scammer ask for his SSN, PIN, and expected tax refund amount.
