I was contacted by "Selena Lessa" (works at Talent Recruiting Solutions) on LinkedIn about a job within Medical Sales for a company called "Blink Device Company". She was incredibly persistent about this role letting me know they were paying a 90k base plus commission and car allowance for this role. I told her I could interview and I was sent a Microsoft Teams link by a Tim Schneider who "works" at Blink Device Company. The subject line was simply titled "InterView" with the V being capitalized. This did not sit well with me, and I began to research more into Blink Device Company. I struggled to find their company website and more information about the role. I also looked up the phone number that Selena contacted me from and it came back registered to a different name, in a different state. Selena was persistent about interview prepping me on a Sunday and when I told her I was wanting to remove myself from consideration for this role because I did not feel comfortable moving into a startup company, I never heard back from her which also made me a little bit sketched out.
