I was called last Monday about my AT&T account and the gentleman identified himself as Ethan Williams from AT&T he stated he was calling about my review I made and stated he was taking over my account to help. He stated he was sending me an iPhone 16 pro max and an Apple Watch at no charge because of the issues I had over the years. This is the 3rd time my identity has been compromised by AT&T and no consequences happen. As soon as T-Mobile calls me back I will be canceling with AT&T as well as having the police get involved with this matter. Sad part is I have emails from AT&T to prove I spoke to someone but as soon as I seen charges that were unknown on my account when I canceled the card all of a sudden the number that I was given by the gentleman to contact him was disconnected, which tells me that this was all a scam. I’m also getting Corporate involved to let them know about the situation as well.
