We contacted the seller to buy a 2006 Dodge Ram for $2000. He claimed that he was being deployed to Iraq and needed to sell quickly, the reason for the low price. He said we would complete the transaction through eBay's vehicle purchase protection program and the vehicle would be shipped free through DAS. I received an email through eBay instructing us to purchase prepaid Vanilla Visa cards and to put $500 on each four cards. Then we were to email the numbers and security codes of cards along with pics of the receipts. Once received the vehicle would be shipped to us. I researched to see if this was a scam and it appears to be one. I tried to find this transaction in my eBay account and it does not exist.
