I saw a kitten advertised for sale on the website https://royaltyorientalcats.com. I contacted them via email and used Zelle (payment ID: BBT315431154) to send them $800.00 for the cat and the shipping cost. When I came time to ship the cat, I was told by the shipping company FIRST FREIGHT ANIMAL TRANSPORT ([email protected]) (341-203-3096 ) that I needed to send them $1,500.00, of which I would get 95% back upon delivery, to rent a special climate controlled crate for shipping. I told them to ship the cat in the crate Ashley provided or don't ship the cat. They did not ship the cat. I told Ashley that I wanted my $800.00 refunded immediately, and I have not received a refund.

I was looking for cat and found Royaltyorientalcats.com. I contacted them and they required me to answer the following question:
-Where precisely are you located ?
-Have you ever raised or owned a cat before?
-Do you have a vet clinic in your area ?
-Does your environment accept pets ?
-How soon do you need him?
Once I passed their test and found to be a suitable home for the cat, they offered to ship the cat since I lived so far away for $250. I agreed to do that but was concerned about the animal flying alone. They told me someone would personally transport the animal to me. This was the second red flag. The first one was the animal was only $550 for a $3,000 cat. The address they provided was 4320 Traci Way Fortuna, CA 95540 which I looked up and a different person lived there.
When they were ready to receive my payment, the name on the Zelle account was Hajra Mehwish with phone number 631-507-1270. She is 29 and lives in New York. I then told them it was obvious this was a scam and never heard another word.
Additionally, their site has photos used from other sites.

I found the site selling cats. My first red flag was the cat was only $550 for cats that sell for $3000. They asked lots of quesitons to make sure I had a good home for the cat. They then provided an address where I could get the baby and offered $250 to ship him to me with a personal transporter. Second red flag. Once I agreed to buy the baby and ship him, I was provided the name of Hajra Mehwish to send the money to with phone number 631-507-1270. This person lives in New York, not California. Was trying to buy a pure bred Oriental kitten for my wife's birthday and came across the above website. Inquired about a kitten that was available "Alice". I received an email with the kitten details from "Ashley" she proceeded to ask questions about my home life to ensure the kitten would be taken care of and I answered all the questions. She claimed she was agreeable to my home conditions and as soon as payment was made via wire transfer she would ship the kitten via airport. The bank transfer was made to an Esmeralda Banos, which should have been a clue. The transfer was completed and she confirmed she had received the money and would ship the kitten the very next day after thanksgiving on 11/29. She sent an email this morning confirming she has dropped the kitten off and the shipping company would be in contact with the details as far as tracking. The shipping company then emailed me stating due to weather conditions the kitten needed a special carrier and it would cost an additional $1500 and 95 percent would be refunded at the time of delivery to my home. This is where I figured something was definitely wrong, I contacted the number on the email "legacy pet logistics" from the shipper, and had no answer. I then googled the address from the email from the shipper that had the breeders address and it came up on Yelp as a universal bengals cattery which has shown the same messaging and emails with verbage verbatim that was sent to me that other people had been sent. Letting me know this is clearly a scam. I know I will probably not get my $800 back but this website needs to be shut down
