Royal Yorkshire Terriers and Happy Tail Courier Reports & Reviews (1)

I purchased a dog from a man who owned a company and website called RoyalYorkshireTerriers.com. He charged me $650.00 for the dog and $130.00 for the courier service to bring the dog to me. I had an email from the service saying the weather was bad and they needed me to buy/rent an electronic thermal crate as it was very cold, the dog was very small and the $2,000 would be fully refunded when the dog was delivered. They took off from the airport there and then I got a call from them again and they said they were at the Salt Lake City, Utah airport and the animal control person would not clear the dog for flying until he saw "Change of Ownership" paperwork. The guy that sold me the dog said he took care of all that, but the animal control people would not clear it. Now they needed an additional $2,999.00 to straighten out the paperwork. They assured me it was also 100% refundable. After sending that payment, I received another call from another guy named James Morgan, but he also had a strong accent. He told me he was the actual breeder although I never sent a payment to him directly. Now I needed to pay an additional $1,800.00. At this point I said no, I don't have the money. I don't feel like you guys have been honest with me from the beginning but this person kept saying he wanted to make it all right and all I had to do was send another $1,800.00.

I spoke with a friend who helped me find the dog and he said, NO, don't send them another dime and that he had just read an article about the person who sold me the dog and said he was most likely a scammer. It was the name of his business that he spotted in the article. So I figured out that it was a scam and said I just wanted my money back at this point as the $5,000 was supposedly refundable. The guy got so mad that I wouldn't send the $1,800.00 that he no said that if I wanted to cancel the deal I had to pay a $500.00 cancellation fee. That was NO where in the agreement nor was it told to me in advance. I called the dog seller and he acted like he had no idea any of this was going on. They gave me so many excuses and stories, I didn't know who to believe. Anyway, I refused to send the $500.00 so he said that now he can't refund the $5,000.00 I paid. I was angry and told him so and accused him of being a scammer. My daughter and friends told me there was NO DOG, that it was a scam from the start. So in total, I lost $5,780.00 and still don't have the dog. It was a nightmare and they are both still online as businesses, probably doing the same to many, many other victims. Please do something to stop them if you can. Thank you in advance.

With a broken heart I send this,
