The person claimed he was hospitalized for three months, and needed money for his medications, groceries, phone/internet bill, gas, among other things. He promised he would pay me back once a $10,000 cheque clears which was deposited on December 16, 2022. I told him I needed the money by January 1, 2023. I never received any money. On the night of December 31, 2022, he said his mom was sick and was in the hospital. The next day, he texted me saying she died of a heart attack. On January 8, 2022, I drove to his mother's house and she was very much alive. I have texts confirming all this information.
