Type of a scam Employment
We start to communicate, she sends a welcome video through the app and says the company is going to pay for the equipment expenses. That information was in the letter as well. I received a check by email, a password secured PDF. She also sent me access to the employee portal website. I was supposed to make the deposit using the bank app, which I did. The instructions for the deposit were sent by another woman, Deborah Rivera, using the email [email protected]
She asked me to print the check and sent her a picture of it after I cut it so she would be sure I did it right. Then she gave me the ok to make the deposit. After that, she never answered any of my messages, she probably blocked me on Telegram. Attached to this message are the picture of her profile on Telegram.
The check bounced back of course. I still don’t know what it is in it for her. I didn’t give her any sensitive information like bank account or social security.
