A letter addressed to myself from Pala Interactive states on Sept 6 they became aware of a cyber incident that involved unauthorized removal of information from our systems. Claimed they quickly launched an investigation with federal authorities and took steps to further prevent unauthorized activity beginning Sept 5 and ending Sept 7th. Based on their analysis to date they determined info about me was involved including name, date of birth ,ss number and other gov't issued id. Pala Interactive has engaged IDX to provide Identity Protection Srvices. Complimentary 2 year credit monitoring. They gave an enrollment code (unique to me) To enroll https://response.idx.us/2025cyberincident or to call 1-833-353-7300. They also provided a QR code in upper right with enrollment deadline of 12/24/2025

I recieved a letter claiming that there was a recent security incident with VeriSource Services, Inc. (VSI) that may have involved my personal information. Wanted me to visit https://response.ids.us/vsi to sign up for free credit monitoring, idientity theft protection throught IDX and 1,000,000 insurance policy.

Not sure this was a scam. Seems suspect. Similar to other situations described at ScamPulse.com website. Described data breach and offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection.

My daughter and I received first class letters, individually addressed to each of us at my home address today, Monday, October 23, 2023. My daughter has not lived at my address for at least 8 years. The letter stated, "we are writing to provide you information about a recent cybersecurity incident involving your personal information that Caesars publicly disclosed through form 8-K filing on September 14, 2023."

The top of the contained a QR image with instructions to scan Or Visit: https://response.idx.us/caesars or call 1-888-652-1580 Mon-Fri 9am-9pm Eastern Time

The sender offered enrollment in IDX credit monitoring and Protection Services through the above website and use of Enrollment Code: FHGWDDRNAC (enrollment deadline is January 22, 2024)
