This is the copy of the email they sent to me. I asked for a copy of the original documentation or the name of the "web loan" company. They said they do not have that information if I wanted it I will have to wait until I go to court for this. They said that I could settle this for $400.00. They keep calling me from different phones numbers daily the last number they called from today was 669-877-0811. Yesterday 820-786-1005 and 209-441-8444. They had my address and the last 4 of my SSN#. They said that they mailed a letter to me in November 2022. I do not have any record of the letter they say they sent.

I just received a call from this same place today, stating that I owe $1500 for an online loan from 2020. They also said the paperwork will be filed with the courts tomorrow. Offered zero resolution. They claimed they are not a debt collector, although the email they sent me had the debt collector disclaimer at the bottom. Did some further digging, and pretty confident this is a scam.
