I received what appeared to be a computer generated call supposedly from Redstone Federal Credit Union. The caller said that my Visa Debit card had been compromised and I needed to call 1-800-622-1361. Instead, I went to my credit union in person. The scammers had been able to get one of our debit card numbers and withdrew $4 - probably to test the waters. They were probably then going to generate fake ID's and such based on information I gave them over the phone. I had a new debit card issued and the $4 was returned to my checking account. Just want everyone to know: take a deep breath and do not to return that call if you receive such a phone call. Take care of your banking business in person.

Caller knew my name and called my cell #. Caller claimed Alert of fraudulent charge on RFCU debit/credit card through Samsung Wallet. Asked for pin #.

Referenced phone number for RFCU on card and caller ID showing same number.

Hung up ,without giving pin, and called RFCU local.

Redstone confirmed they did not make the call. Cancelled card, but not before fraudulent charge made later, same day, now in dispute.
