Type of a scam: Online Purchase

I continue to receive email & phone calls on my land line informing me that they have my $500 down payment on a dog and that they're going to keep it unless I pay the balance. I HAVE NO BALANCE. I DON'T HAVE A DOG. I ONCE EXPRESSED AN INTEREST BUT WHEN I LEARNED THAT THEY ARE A SCAM ORG. I TRIED TO CUFF OFF CONTACT. They continue to call and email me. It's gone one for well over a year +. They have refused to put me in touch with the kennel that they represent and instead told me that they are a reputable org. and that I need have no concern about their legitimacy. There is a mean spirited edge to all communication now and I'm concerned that somebody may try to cause my physical harm. I'm 79 yrs. of age, disabled, walk with a cane because my gait is wobbly and I fall easily. I use hearing aids and thick glasses.

The company recently changed it's name from purebredbreeders to puppyspot.

They are a puppy mill scamming people over the internet. They collect your money through Paypal.

Dogs are not what they promise. They will not give out the breeders name, no contract.

I would warn people interested in buying a puppy not to deal with these people. puppyspot seems to be on Jacksonville, fl. purebredbreeders are out of Cooper City, fl.
