Procter & Gamble sweepstakes winner

received a call from someone claiming to be David Mason at the FTC. Said that I won $750,000 in a proctor and gamble sweepstakes from December 15, 2021. He went on to give me an awards department phone number, and a claim number. initially, I said yes, when he asked if I was a specific person at a specific address other than that, I provided no information and began looking into the scam.

A man called claiming to be someone from the FTC said his name was David Mason gave a phone number and said that I won the sweepstakes and I should call the P&G rewards department. Receive call. They asked for me by name had my address. Said I had received two notices by mail. I replied that I had not received any notices. They said no problem we will give you a number to call. They said Proctor and Gamble will never call, that would be a scam. I made a sarcastic remark and hung up.

Man called and asked me why I havent I called them? He said I had won a sweepstakes from a drawing through Proctor and Gamble and they have been trying to get in touch with me. I got second place award of $750,240 and then he said that BLM legal services would deliver 2 check to Chase bank and the third check would be send certified to my address and the income tax will already be paid. He said to go ahead and call the claim department and they would tell me what all i needed to do.
