And called the number listed to get the charge reversed. I thought Chase had put the charge on my account.
THey insisted they needed my name, number, and the credit card number or my SSN to look up. I don't use that card. I gave them my SSN.
I called Chase to report the fraud. They confirmed it was not them. I put a fraud alert on my SSN.
I called the company back to ask exactly what it is they do and they're charging me for. They insisted they couldn't help me without getting my personal information. I told them I simply want to know what service or benefit they're providing and in relation to what card. They hung up on me.
