This repeat scammer as mentioned above goes by the same name Dr Alex Avila (626-228-8318|), it seems he has stolen the email address and cell number he uses from a basketball player under the same name?! (https://europrobasket.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Andrew-Avila-CV.pdf)

This was his Craigslist hiring post:
"HI: I'm a best-selling author who needs an assistant for book events. Pay is $30.00/hour. The ideal person will have a marketing, administrative, publicity, or promotion background. Personal assistant experience is also desirable. You will be personable with a professional presentation that can open doors where they are not open yet. This is an ongoing long-term part-time position; perfect for those interested in media, books, publicity, humanitarian causes, promotion, events, and so forth. We have an event coming up next Saturday full day. Please send your name, head shot, experience, and availability for next week's event on Saturday, 4/26. Thanks."

He will ask you to text a headshot and your full name to the cell number above. He is clearing taking people's information and trying to source candidate's to attend these fake events. His listings have been flagged via Craigslist and he has also been reported to the Federal Trade Commission as a fraudulent person. DO NOT FALL FOR IT AND REPORT IMMEDIATELY!

The scammer has a job posting on Indeed for "FORENSIC REPORT WRITER FOR FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY GROUP, Premier Forensic Psychology - Remote" The scammer picks 18 candidates to join for the first interview, in which he had us all share our GPA's and highest degrees. The interview was very unprofessional, he was asking personal questions to woman as "are you still breastfeeding, doing mom duties?" when a woman shared her daughters age. He asked another candidate who stated she doesn't work if she was being financially taken care of or if she had a husband who was taking care of her financially. He asked us all to complete a Report writing, an example of what he would use in court. He said the report would be due by next morning California time, and to text him (in which he provided his number through email) when we completed the report. The next day he emailed us and said to join for a follow up, at this point there were only 8 candidates left. The interview was yet again unprofessional, and did not discuss about how the job works, mostly just about we would be needed to write reports for his office. He asked if we could all complete a Full Forensic Report now and submit it by that night, 9 pm California time. He said once we did this we could move forward into hte next stage and move forward to hire. When completed we were to text him "Ready to Roll!" I had submitted the report, which was a 10 page report, and took about 3 hours to complete, and then I texted him "ready to roll!" the next morning he stated the report had a few spacing errors that I needed to correct and send back to him (in which this is not a school paper or actual work used, so perfection is not needed. He said this was to see our writing style, but we did a full out report.) I submitted the report back in PDF, he emailed back and said the report needed to be sent in Microsoft Word, which is alarming as to he can make whatever changes necessary and actually use this report that was sent. He asked us to send the report to email: [email protected]. After the report was resent, he texted back "Perfect" and have not heard anything back from him in regards of the position. It seems as if this is a scam and these reports he has us individuals doing are actually being used for actual needs, and it is not used to hire people for actual jobs. Anytime I go to look up his Office "Premier Forensic Psychology" the link does not work, the site never loads and no information is available for the actual office of work.
