I received a phone call this morning, as did my husband, from a person named Lisa Owens claiming to be a County Process Server for a county I haven't lived in in many years and requesting that I call New York phone # 833-204-2940. However, they called using Utah phone # 385-230-6995. She stated there was a "potential" judgment/lien against me but did not state what it was for. She had my full name and other identifying information, and the judgment was being processed through Pratt Willert & Associates. She wanted to give me "a heads up" that the courier was already dispatched and gave the date and time of day they would arrive. To be safe, I also checked my credit report, and all searches from various unknown sites were conducted today, totaling 50 searches.

This office who claim to be lawyers passed my mom to two associates and the guy that she talked to was named NAME. He claimed my mom took out a loan in 2021 and that it was fraud and in default so they are representing a fake company called DollarHand.com who loan cash but they only due these loans online and claimed they gave my mom a loan directly to her bank account. Since she hasn’t paid it through a bank account she has never had, the company was trying to sue her and before it goes to court they wanted to settle an account for over $2000 to just over $500. They had the last four of her social and provided an address she hasn’t lived at for over 10 years at least. They even told her they were going to send this to the San Bernardino county office so they can subpoena her. Once I told her to say she was gonna speak to a lawyer the man just went on to say that they were trying to help her from it going to court and since she doesn’t want to settle there is nothing they can do and said they wouldn’t talk to her lawyer and hung up. I looked up the dollar hand.com and the phone number is to a cell phone and the address is a home neighborhood address too.
