I logged on to the internet to see if I could renew my passport online. I thought it was a the United State Passport Renewal site. After waiting months I went to my bank account to see when they got their payment. There was a phone number associated with it so I called the and the only name the guy would give me was J. C. I asked for his full name and he said that was his full name. I told him I wanted a refund and he told me it was past the 120 days. I have given them my social security number and my passport number. J.C. told me that it was all over their page that they were a private company. I am smart enough to review the web address and read through the web page to know that there was no place on there that showed they were not the USA passport. I see now that it is a .org account and not a .gov account. I paid $168.85. I will not be sending them my current passport or photo as I will just go in to a local office. They said they sent me an email but I have searched everywhere and can not find it. I want my money back and I will have to put a hold on my social security number.
