PINEHURST FUNDING Reports & Reviews (46)

Like everyone else, their robo calling software usually shows a fake number with the same prefix as yours and then a recorded voice says, Hi this is Sydney can you hear me. And if you don't answer it disconnects. Blocking the number doesn't work because each one is new, fake and randomly generated. Where in the [censored] is the FTC, the phone carriers and watchdogs and why are then not cracking down on these lowlifes?

FTC has nobody that can figure out how to stop them. And why should they stop when they only get a slap on the wrist IF they get caught? What you need to do is have some fun with them. Say that you can't hear them. YELL that you can't hear them. Speak your own made-up language. Heck, if you're a horror movie lover, scream bloody murder. The FTC, FCC, etc. aren't going to do anything. They don't have the talent, equipment, people, resources, legislation, or smarts to keep up with the scamming snakes.

Sidney from Pinehurst Funding indentified herself, the asked if I could hear her ok. I said "yes" then the call was disconnected. I have heard of this scam, but fell for it, not realizing until the caller hung up. This happened about a week ago and today she called again. I just hung up this time. I feel vulnerable, suspecting my recorded "yes" will be used out of context to authorize something, but don't know what to be on the lookout for.

This number continues to call me on a daily basis. It is a Robo call same person every time and the exact same verbiage used. Every time I speak with the financial person they hang up on me because I ask for their business information or asked to speak to a supervisor I’ve been formed them not to call me several times I’m even on the federal do not call list and they continue to call with Robo calls. I have research this company and it appears they have had several complaints for the same issue

I too have received beyond normal spam calls from both male and female reps. So I did some searching and for b b b found this. https://www.bbb.org/us/az/show-low/profile/mortgage-broker/pinehurst-financial-l... the real company

Completely different business entity

Incessant calls from never ending new numbers leaving the same voicemail from a "Sean" who wants me to accept an offer that expires soon- for over a year now... No matter how many numbers I bock, the calls keep on coming. Finally called them back:they have no license number apparently, and the "official" phone number they gave me is invalid...And they are still calling me- again as I am writing this up...

have you ever tried answering and telling them to stop calling?

My business has been called by this "Pinehurst Funding" multiple times from multiple numbers. They will call, say "This is Sydney from Pinehurst Funding. Can you hear me?" and then hang up. The first time I got this call at my work, I answered yes thinking it was business related. Now I hang up almost immediately after answering.

I've been blocking the numbers as they come in but they keep calling from different numbers.

OMG ! How do I get this computer to stop calling my phone ?

Non stop spam calls. Reps refuse to answer questions and won't deviate from scripts. Checked website, it's a facade with no usable information. Safe to assume they are a scammers. Wouldn't be surprised if Matthew Wham was one of them.

Received a call from Keven Martinez from Pinehurst Funding. He was not well spoken, and didn't really seem to know what he was doing. He was responding to an SBA application I filled out. Apparently the SBA is sending him leads. He asked form some basic information, such as Bank Statements, and I provided them. He responded the next day asking for missing bank statements that he already had. Then he asked me for someone else's bank statements. His grammar was awful, and he was very unprofessional. I started wondering if he was trying to scam me. I did some digging and found that he is a possible scammer. I decided to go with a different lender and did not respond to him. He called me and asked when I would send over the rest of my information. I told him that we have already received funding and will no longer need his services. He said he would beat the rate and the loan amount. He only had my bank statements, so to make a statement like that is ridiculous. I thanked him, but advised that I had already signed with another company. He then proceeded to say that I don't like him, or his company and wanted me to confirm that was the real reason. I re-iterated that was not the case and tried to stay professional. He threw a tantrum like a child and would not stop talking about how I didn't like him and he needed confirmation of that. He was very rude and disrespectful at this point. I finally said, that wasn't the case, but now it is. Don't call me again. During that statement, he interrupted me several times and was saying very unprofessional things. Even if you don't do business with someone, you don't act like that unless you are pissed you didn't scam them. No real business person would put their reputation at risk like that. He is a scammer, and the company is a sham. Do not do business with this person, or his company.

I came across this post and each and every post is about individual experiences. At best some bad customer service, but no outline or proof of scam reported. I have personally worked with and will continue to do business with Edward and Pinehurst Funding. I provided the necessary information and received the funds I need it to get my business down the road.

So who did you use? We are interested in using them but there really is no information out there to verify them, you are the 1st bit if positive I've found at all.

Same as previously mentioned. I asked why there was so little info and no working website for the company and they got really offended and said " well do you need funding for your business, or not?" which I responded that i did not and they said " Well, let's not waste any of our times". So I hung up.

They also called from a 607 number which is in NY and they say they are in California?

I was contacted as well. Wanted to see if it was a scam.

Keven Martinez , a fake name id assume is a scammer attempting to collect bank statements for the use of funding fake bank loans. Avoid this fake company as a plague of the internet. When confronted about the lack of information on the multimillion dollar funding company he works for he became distraught and upset when he realized something as simple as that would take down his scam. Not registered on the ScamPulse.com and the address to the company is a shared office location also the website was created by a 5 year old.

You sound angry, with no evidence backing up your angry claims. Is there a reason for your anger? I've found that these companies tend to contact failing businesses or business whose owners have really bad credit, so has their marketing touched a nerve with you?

Did you provide the bank statements? What happened after that? Thanks
