A number local called, I normally don’t answer number I don’t know, but have some apts coming up so I did answer.

The person “foreign sounding voice( Spanish???) said can you hear me I don’t know if I said yes, but concerned if I did… and he said again can you hear me, I said what do you want, no reply only again can you hear me? I hung up.

I googled the number but it did not show up anything?!

I am concerned “if “ instinctively” I said yes that it could be somehow used against me somehow.

I just hate scammers.. I was tired and not feeling well otherwise I’d would have never even answered the phone . And advise would be appreciated. Please do something to stop these low grade people!

They call and state the following:

"Hey there, this is Jessica again from your loan processing team. I've been trying to reach out to you regarding your loan application, but we haven't been able to connect yet. If you need to verify the final details , mostly really your income and if you other minor items just to complete your approval , could you please return my call at 8 7 7- 8 6 7- 5 1 3 9 it would be ideal if we could finalize this before 5 PM Pacific time today If you changed your mind , would like to cancel your application or no longer wish to proceed . Please feel free to let us know as well when you give us a call back . Make sure to mention your application ID just for a faster process . Your application ID is as an apple is in hotel zebra 3 4 5 7 8 once again that number is a an apple is in hotel season in zebra 3 4 5 7 8 . And also just a reminder, my number is 8 7 7- 8 6 7- 5 1 3 9. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day...."

SHE (oriental sounding voice) would not give me her name, was asking if we have moved or if i knew when the office move would take place. I told her, I have no idea what she was talking about, then there was silence for about 6 seconds and i said "HELLO"? and she kept asking if i could hear her. i told her i heard her and told here that this is a goverment business, and asked her if she heard me. i asked if she had any info on who she may have talked to before, and she hung up..

Call center environment sounding call, with phones and voices in the background, will call several times for a whole day (Sometimes two days) saying "I'm calling from the Growth Index Group with materials to send to you regarding your office's upcoming move. Have you decided on a move date?" We have asked every time to have our information removed from the system and they often hang up before we can finish asking. This happens for 1 or 2 days every 3 or so months.

I received a call today 8/1/23 from a caller I couldn't hear well. I said I can't hear you. Then I was asked if I lived a *** ********** ********* *****. I answered "Yes." Then asked if I wanted to sell my home. I responded "no I do not". I saw a info commercial after the call on WFAA Channel 8. Got info to call or report.
