Phishing Scam - USPS Impostor Reports & Reviews (99)

Website looked official USPS - but I realized it does not charge money even if only 30 cents for redelivery. I did not put credit card info closed the site and blocked the texter.

Scammer said that my USPS delivery could not be completed because of incomplete information and sent a link to confirm my address. On the link, I was asked to enter my address (which I did) and then it took me to a payment page, where I was asked to pay 0.3 dollars. That’s when I realised it’s a scam. I didn’t lose any money, but the scammer has my number and address which is scary.

I entered my debit card information and address. They only thing I can’t figure out is how they got my number.

Text suggested I had a package that was in the warehouse and usps needed updated information to have it redelivered. They said there was a $0.3 redelivery fee and requested address and card.

They claimed there was a package that couldnt be delivered and I needed to reschedule a new pickup time. I clicked on the site and it looked like the legitimate site for USPS. I put in my address and it took me to a form that said I would have to pay for re delivery. Wanted my credit card information. I refused and backed out. I looked up that the tracking number couldn't be located and I took it to be a scam when I found out USPS doesn't charge for a second delivery attempt.

Text presented as being from the USPS requiring address confirmation and redirection fee ($0.30) to redeliver a package. First attempt to pay the fee failed, second triggered an alert from my credit cards about first an attempt to add my AmEx to an Apple Wallet failing and second, successfully adding a Citi card to an Apple Wallet. Promptly closed the website and contacted both credit card companies.

I was missing a package from USPS and sent them an email last night. This morning, I got an email from another email saying the address is wrong and I needed to update it. Being as I'm not fully awake, I click on the link and it take me to a fake USPS page where it tells you to enter your address and credit card information.

Received this text message and did a quick Google to find it was a scam

— I was directed to a website that asked for something like a 30 cent charge for redelivery. My credit card information was then stolen, added to someone’s Apple Pay, and used at a restaurant (at least according to my statement).

- Arlington, VA, USA

I received an email from the USPS claiming there was a failed delivery attempt and to correct my address. I clicked the link and out in my info, after that page I was asked for a delivery fee of $1.75 or something and then I would receive an sms text code to finalize, but I never got the code. I was waiting on a package from a third party seller and believed it to be that. But the package from the seller never seemed to arrive and then they seemed to easily refund me with no hassle.

Text came from my Dads number that a package wasn’t delivered and waiting at the warehouse.

- Dumfries, VA, USA

I received the text attached below. It says my address is incomplete and to go to the website to fix the address: http://zubaos.cc. When you go to the website, it asks for your credit card info, but that no fee will be charged. I clicked around on the website and nothing worked, so I checked any orders I had outstanding and all of them were in transit and my address was correctly entered on the invoices. I assumed it was a scam and did not give them my information.

I got a text about a package I ordered and when I clicked the link it asked me to enter my card info to have the package re-delivered.

- Bangor, PA, USA

I ordered 3 things of putty from mindware putty. After purchasing it the night before i got a text message this morning
