I answered my phone a woman claimed to be from Medicare although phone number didn’t have that listed. She asked if it was me I said “yes “. She asked if I received my card. I said “yes”. I quickly hung up.

Someone calls from Medicare saying they’re going to be sending out a new card and they want to check that the number they have is right and then they try and give you a free back brace which will be charged to the government and when you tell them you don’t need it that you haven’t any back problems. They say you should take it anyway Because you may need it and when you say you will call when you do need it they keep insisting until you break down, which I didn’t .I hung up. They kept calling me back, but I wouldn’t answer.

My elderly mother keeps getting phone calls from people claiming to be from Medicare and asking her if she has knee pain. They have info like her doctors name and pharmacy. Once they ask for her as number she refused to give it they hung up, but, they still keep calling!!!
