Received text message from 1-609-649-8055. The exact text message was: "Account Activity notice: A charge of $213.85 was made via Apple-Pay at AppleStore If this is incorrect, Contact Apple-Support 1-844-607-2800" Verbatim - that was the text message including lack of period after "AppleStore" and merging of "AppleStore".
