My husband's phone rang today from 470-705-6756, asking for me. I answered the phone, and she told me she was from a collection agency that represents Ezcorp. She told me I owed money over 1600.00 and she said she had an affidavit from a credit union, she said two payments came out from in" 2014 or 2019 0r 2015". When I told her this wasn't me or my loan, she quickly told me it was me and that I had to prove in court it wasn't me or did I want to make an out of court payment. When I asked her for this paperwork so I could do my due diligence and research. I told her you'll have to take me to court. This isn't me. she said no she couldn't give me the file because it's been removed from collections. She said they will put a lean on a home or take money from an account. Please help me I'm being scammed. I never took out a loan like she's saying 11 years ago. They want me to pay them without supplying me with any documents.
