I called this company to junk my car. They said they would have someone call me back in 24 hrs that wanted to buy my junk car. I received a call from 813-540-9669 the next morning, but I was with a client and said I'd call them back. The person at that # refused having me call them back and insisted they call me. Because of that I told them they sounded Shady and to cancel the entire deal. Since that call, i received 2 calls from similar numbers. The first # was 813-585-0020, and that was a guy named Muhammad asking if I called him and I said "No". The second number was "813-585-4710, which was an automated call about me extending my car warranty. I hung up and texted "Stop" to that number. Since then I have gotten text messages, voicemails and phone calls from that same number, plus the following numbers "813-570-1886, & 813-515-0350 " with these people cussing me out, calling me names, texting me nasty messages...all because I caught onto their scam. I've also received a call from #805-637-7243. This all started today- right after I told that #813-540-9669 they were shady and to cancel my order. Peddle.com & junkmycar.com have given these people my information, and are part of this whole scam because I'm getting calls from random businesses as well. They have been relentless calling, texting and leaving me nasty messages until I blocked them. And they all came from junkmycar.com / peddle.com. i have saved the call logs and text messages from these numbers. I believe they would have taken my junk vehicle and or my Identity, and would have given me worthless check.
