The item order is completely false in advertising. Saying 100% linen and it’s completely polyester material. Now I’ve been asking for a return label and they are only offering me a discounted refund. And said it will cost 30$ for return label as it has to be sent back to china although the company is in North Carolina

The website looks credible. They have a couple with a personal story in a photo with what appears to be an in-person store with the name Pearl Veil. It says Asheville, NC, at the top of the page. It looks great. Prices reflect decent quality. Selection is classy. The order took much longer to arrive and came from overseas (probably China). The items were unlabeled and horrendous quality. Poor fabrics, shoddy workmanship. I tried to return them per their 30 day return policy and met with multiple emails offering discounts if I simply keep them and suggesting returning may not work out well paying the return costs and *customs* and the possibility the items would be lost. What a mess! Upon closer inspection of the website, under the "About Me" section, it mentions they are based out of the UK, which is clearly not North Carolina. I couldn't say if that's true or not, but the clothing certainly did not come from there. Highly disappointed.

I did a google search for wedding guest dresses. Found a boutique that is supposedly in NC called pearl veil. Went to purchase and my card declined them as potential fraud. Turns out the site is fake, they used AI to generate the picture of the couple and copy used for marketing. Saw on trustpilot that the clothes are coming from abroad, not NC. I think China? Said that the items received were not what was on the website hard to get money back. Still they are posing as an older couple in NC who own a boutique. Because my card declined I did some research and didn’t attempt again.

I purchased a dress for 69.95. The transaction went through. I immediately got suspicious and cancelled my order before anything was even shipped. Got confirmation email that the order was successfully cancelled and a refund given. However, a refund was never given. Have gone back and forth via email for 2 months about how my funds are "stuck" internationally and they are looking for the Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) that I can provide my bank so they can find the refund and release the money to my account. The company is a scam and I have never been refunded.

I purchased a dress from the PearlVeilBoutique.com website and a few days later received an email from [email protected] saying the dress was out of stock and could I please select another one as a replacement. I requested a refund for the $59.99 I paid and rather than providing one, they requested that I please review their inventory first. Meanwhile, the dress is still listed on their website in all sizes. Their responses are in the middle of the night so I believe they are operating from another country.
