when called they told her to enter things on her computer, and after doing some downloads they said the refund would be going though to her checking account and to open her bank. they then were able to look at her account and move about through the screens for her. they were able to remotely transfer $45,000.00 from her money market account to her checking account without her knowledge. Then told her that they accidently deposited $45000 into her checking account. and when she looked, sure enough her checking account had $45,000 in it. they then wanted her to go to the bank to do a international wire transfer to an account in bancock. they sent the info for her to transfer money to, and told her she would need to lie that the money was going to a family member for medical emergency. she almost went to the bank but she called me first thankfully. her bank saw the transfer as a regular online transfer from her, and the reversed the transaction.

I did call the number and spoke to someone who sounded like they were from India. They wanted to walk me through removing it from my computer. Wasn't having none of it. No chance of getting access to my computer.
