Type of a scam: Foreign Money Exchange

I met with this person on Facebook messenger and they told me that they would put $5000 onto my bank account but they made me pay all these fees and I never got what was promised and ended up losing $2,526 plus $228 on my PayPal account, I tried to get with someone to help me recover my funds but they just ended up charging me for money

FIRST CARD WAS HACKED AFTER I ORDERED SOMETHING ONLINE (STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT. IT'S BEEN 3 MOS) I CALLED PAYCHKS PLUS & REPORTED HACK , THEY SAID I AUTHORIZED THE SALE FOR $128.++, I DID NOT. I ONLY AUTHORIZED FOR A $6.95 SALE. NOW I HAVE SEVERAL CHARGES. CANCELED CARD, BOSS GAVE ME A NEW ONE. ALSO, STILL WAITING ON REFUNDS FROM RETURNS I DID MONTHS AGO. THEY STILL SAY I AUTHORIZED THE ALL THE DIFFERENT CHARGES ON MY OLD CARD (ALMOST $300) EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE SEVERAL NEW CHARGES TRYING TO GO ON MY OLD CARD. I AM GOING TO FIGHT THIS ALL THE WAY TO MY GRAVE IF I HAVE TO! I WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE MY MONEY FROM ME W/O A FIGHT! ONE MORE REASON I HATE ALL THIS NEW TECH STUFF THEY ARE FORCING ON US! VISA LOGO IS ON THIS CARD... I'M GOING TO CALL THEM. VISA CLAIMS TO BACK US ON THIS SORT OF THING.

BIG SCAMMER BANK

Please never use www.paychekplus.com bank account. They are scammer. I transferred 2500$ to my account never received that ammount. I called them they said they sent the ammout but i didn’t receive my money. Big scame bank account in us. Please never use this bank.If u have money please withdraw it and close your account asap. I am really feeling sad for that.

Replacement card

I have had this card account for 14 years. Never had issues until now. My card was stolen, so on January 3rd I called and cancelled the card. I requested a new card. They told me it would be 10 business days. Now they confirmed all my information including the mailing address. On January 18th I called because I hadn't gotten it, and they said to wait until the 21st due to the holiday possibly delaying it. OK Whatever. So on the 21st I called back, after my carrier delivered for the day, to let them know that I still had not gotten my card and that I desperately needed my card. The person apologized, now mind you this is after being hung up on 3 times, and said that I should have gotten it but that they would expedite my second replacement card. So they cancelled the first replacement card, so they could do everything. Well, after paying a fee for the expedited card, they told me..."Oh you don't qualify for that." The wouldn't refund the 9.98 fee that they charged me. Fine whatever just send me my card. They said 10 business days. That would be the 4th of February. Well when I called, after being hung up on 6 different times, someone finally said that it should actually be the 7th due to the time of day the card was requested...makes sense I guess. So Monday I didn't bother calling. I called today and the person says "Oh due to the party that makes the cards having supply issues, the card hasn't even been sent..."WAIT, WHAT!" I asked how the previous person said it was sent but she was saying it wasn't. I asked for a supervisor, which I had done in previous calls, and again got a ple[censored]d...come back saying supervisor is busy and will call me back...hahaha yea right, thats what the previous ones said. Long version short I still don't have the card, and they won't send me another replacement. Over a month of paychecks sitting there for them be [censored] and hold. This is BS.

Scam out of country

Paycheck plus is used by a large corporation and is how my husband was paid upon employment start. Seemed alright at first but once we had a problem to resolve, it was a BIG RED FLAG. We placed an order to Walmart.com but the order was wrong, we canceled the "pre-authorization" withing 2 minutes of placing the order. This was on a Friday morning. We called Walmart on Saturday to see when they would take the pre-authorization hold off the card. They told us the order was already canceled and they don't receive funds on a pre-authorization and it's just a hold until the order is processed. So we called the "bank" paycheck plus on Sunday because the money was not back on the card yet. They told us it may be up to 3 business days but that it should be available Monday morning. It was not. We called. We were told it can take 3 business days but that tomorrow (tuesday), would be the 3rd business day so it should definitely be on the card. Tues, no money yet. Called paycheck plus, same story. It should hit sometime that day.
Wednesday morning, still no money. We called paycheck plus. The agent told us we would have it sometime that day. We asked for a supervisor. They basically told us no. When we pressed for one, they out us on hold once again. They returned telling us that there isn't a supervisor available and we could try back in an hour! We said we would wait on hold no matter how long it took. They said we can't do that but they would have a supervisor call us in an hour...
12 min left before it's been an hour. Pretty sure they aren't calling back.
In conclusion...
This bank is not in the United States
No one speaks english very well which made it difficult.
They lie to, and hang up on customers forcing REPEATED calls for days.
Steer clear! Have your check direct deposited to an actual bank that follows rules and such. Good luck!

sent my employee a payroll card, we dont use a payroll card, and this is his only job. phishing for info to set up direct deposit to their accounts, targeting nonenglish speakers. I did call the bank/the paycheck plus to get any information, and paycheck plus wouldnt even give me a customer service number

Much like the guy who reported on Aug 17, 2026, I also received counterfeit GE XWFE water filters. They don't have the RFID chip in the label. Stay away from these scammers. Aug 19, 2026
