I received a text message telling me it was Pay Pal contacting me, letting me know that they are going to withdrawal $362.99 out of my bank account following a purchase that I had made, I was even given a reference number of: 293725. They offer a link to click on, which I did not. I am glad I called the ScamPulse.com first before clicking anything, and I want to warn others of this scam going on.

Stated that I had purchased a new subscription and thanked me for my purchase. Have a number to call if I had questions

Received this email scan more than one . Told the person I don’t have a pay pal account . He wants you to to your computer and enter info and I told him I didn’t have a computer and told him I was going to report him to the ScamPulse.com and he hung up

debra ********* financial team Sent an email saying I purchased a webcam and/or web3patch for 214.00.

received e-mail for a $240.00 purchase through Pay Pal. the purchase was for (NFT character) ?? and a contact number ************. I called the number and a person asked for the last 4 digits of the order #, I gave this information and they said it was a Hack out of Ohio, that he would be able to help me, cancel this amount. I asked what account this was against, and he said most likely my checking account. He asked me to hold on and he will assist in filling out form for cancellation. He then wanted to know when my computer was turned turn on...

I felt this isn't making sense so I immediately hung-up.

I felt the next steps would be for him to get access to my IP address, log into my computer and download all information, on-line banking accounts, credit card info etc.

I received an Email from a company saying Pay Pal which I’ve never used saying I purchased a guns I’ve never had pay pal in my life or purchased a gun. I called them I stay in St. Louis and they said the purchased was from Someone in California. I called them they where rude and I told them I will call my bank and authorities they started going off on me and hung up. So they said they had a manager I could talk too named Allen Barker. I called him he went off and hung up. He has a number as well ************. So people need to be aware of this.

I did not make any purchase. I called the phone # listed and a man picked up. He said "This is Paypal, so I asked him again "Who is this?"and he would not say who he was, so , I knew it must be fake. I was very suspicious and said "No Thank You" and hung up, and had no other questions.

The email from the scammer contained a pdf attachment which exhibited a fancy, official invoice stating that it was Paypal, w/ invoice #'s, amount charged, who the charge was from (Springfield Armory inc.), Order Status, phone # to call.

We received an email from Pay Pal. We were to be billed for $560.21 for “bit coins”. I called to cancel the order. *************** * and she asked me to go to Google so she could get in my computer to download a form for me to fill out To cancel the order. I do not let anyone that I don’t know get in my computer. This is what made me suspect a scam. Our Church checking account has been compromised 4 times in the last 3weeks. We are on our 4th account number.

I was contacted today by E-mail by some one supposedly Pal Pal about a purchase for Etherium Credit.I don't know what that is.It for the amount of $616.00 I called that number which was on the email.I spoke with Asian man who could not assist me.I had a Pay Pal account last year which I cancelled last year. They don't have any of my current bank information .I still have the email if it's needed.

I received email with my name & a prior address displaying an invoice of a purchase for $429.00 which I didn’t make. I called to report the problem & to cancel. The guy wouldn’t cancel & said I needed to be online to cancel. I then got upset & asked if this was a scam; of course he hung up.

Paypal emailed me with an invoice that there was a $500 fee for a coin purchase. I don't have a Paypal account. They said they sent payment to Coin Base global inc. I called to cancel the transaction and Jordan answered id 15632. She told me to get on my computer and they would send me a receipt to cancel. She asked for my email and I gave it and she said she would send.

I keep receiving emails saying I purchased Bitcoin (500.00), I phone for 1710.93. When I call the number the person who answers wants me to turn my laptop on, so that he can send me a form to cancel an order I did not make.

Asked to remote access my phone to troubleshoot bank account

I called this number for pay pal customer service to get a refund on an item I ordered and never received. He wanted me to download an app to verify who I was that allowed him to access my phone. Then told me that I would have to go to Walmart and get a card in order to receive my refund. I told him that I felt like this was a scam and would not do that and asked to speak to a supervisor he refused to transfer my call so I hung up. He called me back and told me that I have a very irritating voice and that I had best watch what I say on the phone because my words could be used against me and threatened me and told me to never call him again. This was A very disturbing call and I feel that he was a scammer. His name was Mark.

Yes I entered in my Social security number and then why i saw the link I realized it was a scam.

I was trying to get a refund on a purchase and I looked up PayPal on google to get the number. I called it and not thinking he asked that I download an app called TeamViewer Quick Support. We received an email supposedly from Pay Pal with a receipt for $499.95 supposedly for bitcoin purchase with a number to call if we didn't make the purchase. When we called we were told that we had been hacked and that the company( supposedly Pay Pal0 was connected to ScamPulse.com and would take care of it but we would have to connect to their site in order to process a direct refund to our bank account. The sign in was: Join.zoho.com/????. Once we signed it they showed us a list of seven foreign addresses that they claim were accessing our computer. The site had a legitimate looking logo of ScamPulse.com and so we filled out the form. Then they asked us to open our bank account to get a code that would show the refund. But there was nothing there. They seemed to have the last four digits of our debit card, which they wanted us to verify. So they gave me a code but the first four numbers were "Xs" and they said the bank would have to call to give us a code but the time was limited. In the meantime they kept asking for our pin number. We kept refusing but they insisted that it was only for the transfer and that without the card there was no way anyone could use the debit card. After three tries we finally gave them the pin number and they called with a number which we gave them. The call came with our bank name so we thought it was legit. Once they got the pin they said the bank had rejected the transfer and wanted to know if we had any other banking or financial services. When we answered negatively they hung up. Later in the afternoon we received an email from our bank stating that we had transferred $500 to a Henry Wright with the email "[email protected]. We called the bank immediately to let them know we did not know the person and had not made any transfers. So the bank told us it was a fraud and blocked our account.
