I was searching for dogs and found puppies on Pawsome Pets that referred me to Maltipoo Puppies for Adoption. After much texting selected 2 pups and was asked for deposit to start paperwork. I Zelled them the deposit of $300 and was told a meet and greet would be arranged. Told me they would deliver dogs to me for a week and then return for finalization of paperwork and balance of money. Did some research but obviously not enough. Sent money to [email protected] in Grand Rapids MI. Her phone was 951-703-0322 for text messages. Phone for Pawsome Pets Adoption was 702-757-6677. Dogs were to be delivered on 1/2/2023 at 1:30. Received a text from delivery people (469-526-3906) asking for a refundable amt. of 538.00 to insure safe delivery. Told them I would pay the 38.00 for the insurance but would not send the other 500.00 for the dogs until they were here. Texted with Linda??? and was told that that is the policy of the delivery service. She said it would be refunded and we would finalize the paperwork in a week and I would pay the balance of 500.00at that time. Needless to say I realized that I had been scammed and stopped texting!!!
