Type of a scam Phishing

A Male named Paul Smith called with a thick accent stating the gentlemen's social security has been compromised, and they actually had his social security number and repeated it to him. This guy was very rude telling him the social security was involved in a criminal activity. The gentlemen began asking to speak with the man's supervisor and Paul Smith stated he could only speak to him. When consumer continued questioning Paul Smith, Paul hung up, the consumer called him back requesting to speak to his supervisor, but Paul initiated threats to the consumer going to jail that he was sending the officers to his house as they spoke. Paul hung up on the consumer again, and the consumer called back for a third time with a message of the number has been disconnected.

Ordered a J.Lindenberg golf shirt I had been looking for, off a legitimate looking website. Item didn't arrive, and they apologized and sent me a cheap tee shirt with the word Supreme across the chest. After a lot of back and forth they came to the conclusion that the problem lied with the shipping company. They then said they would resend the correct item if I would sent them 20 Euros. I demanded my money back and they said they would work on getting that for me. They tell me the shipper will only refund them 70% of the value, so they will only refund me 61% as their fee. I am reporting them to my credit card company and will let them handle these crooks.

My name is Paul Smith..I am presently out of town with my family but here is the location (6405 W 81st St,Overland Park, KS 66204) so you could go check it and get back to me with the estimate / roofing proposal so I can look over it and we can proceed from there.. Let me know when you would like to take a look at it..Pls feel free to email back and you can also reply back to me SMS... Also, let me know if you accept Credit Card or Check Payment. I waste our time taking measurements and typing up a bid only to get this email as a reply....

As stated that I am out of town and I recently bought this home and would like the roof to be replaced before I could relocate and move in with my family. I am having a problem balancing the initial owner I only payed 85% and due to the fact that he doesn't have the facility to accept Check or credit card for payment, then I decided that you might be able to help me out, I will really appreciate it if you could do a perfect job for me regarding the roof replacement. I will also like you to do me a favor and I would be very grateful about that.

The person I bought the house from only accepts Wire transfer that is why I want you to handle everything for me, I will send you a check to charge for the sum of $10,000.00 and you will deduct the sum of $3,000.00 for the deposit of your service which is more than 50% of the total charges and you will wire the remaining $7,000.00 to the person I bought the house from . Once the person I bought the house from has the $7,000.00 he will make the keys available to you.

You shall receive the balance on completion of the job.

Please get back to me as soon as possible on this with your mailing address and the name you want me to address the check to so I could sign on the proposal and send back to you as a sign of agreement to back up what I said.
