Suggested an unclaimed permanent life insurance policy from a client who has been unable to locate any living relatives or claimants to her estate. Proposal of distribution of funds ($10,800,020) to be split between the solicitor (person sending the letter) and the recipient of the letter.

Scammer approached with offer to unlawfully use my wife as a bogus relative of a deceased woman to obtain a large sum remaining in her estate. I do not know what expected us to put in but it was unlawful.

I received a typed letter via the USPS from Paul Davies, LLP. They claim they will split a $10.8 million life insurance policy with me. They had my correct name and address, and claimed the insurance policy was someone with my last name.

Received a letter saying the sender was settling the estate of a person with the same last name. They stated they would settle the claim, give 10% to charity, and split the remaining 90% with me.
