Signed up on Facebook at the great American store/ American patriot 1776 to get a free trump flag for just a small shipping fee, but evidently they claim that by getting that offer you're added to a membership and I was charged fifty dollars. I did not agree to join a membership. I finally found a number on my credit card statement and called to cancel right after I noticed the charge and talked to someone who barely spoke English and was told I would be removed from the membership and refunded. A month later I finally get an email saying my membership expired but no refund because when I signed up for the free flag, they are saying you can only get the free flag with a membership. Total bait and switch scam. P.S. I emailed them back to say I would return the flag with no response. Do not trust these Facebook post for free stuff with just shipping and handling.

sounds like me they charged me 45 a month for 3 months before i caught it for membership i did not ask for. they said i had 150.00 credit so i ordered 6 things all were out of stock but 1 ordered more sent 1 shirt XS and oredered xl and got charged for shipping twice this company is REALLY BAD

I just noticed a pending charge for $39.97 from Patriot that I did not authorize. It is not noted anywhere that by paying for shipping you are authorizing any type of additional charge (I read everything carefully). There appeared to be a check box that said, "Make America Great" that I did not check just in case that box was authorizing something I was not aware of. The extra charge was made 3 days after the initial charge for a free flag (just pay shipping) was posted. They also sell your contact information at https://lists.nextmark.com/market?page=order/online/datacard&id=555187
I filed a fraud report with my credit card and they canceled that card so that no future charges can be made.

It was an advertisement supported by Facebook for a free flag just pay the $5 shipping. I do that and it’s all fine. Later the company starts charging my card multiple times of $40 nearly draining my account. I have to call my bank and report this as well. But they have no legitimate website, address, or anything.
