After applying to many remote jobs online for Data Entry Clerk positions, I got an email from [email protected] to set up a virtual meeting which I did. I prepared myself to interview face to face with someone but instead just had a text type of interview through an app called Ring Central. The next day I got an offer to start working on July 17th,2023 and sent documents that described what to expect in the role and how to proceed. The “hiring manager” said I would get a check to pay for equipment. However, the wording was just a smidge off and I am familiar with the check type scams. I emailed the actual company -Parse Biosciences about the incident as well.
