They contacted me through the school employer contact website Handshake after I submitted an application. I completed an interview and they said they would move me to the onboarding process. They emailed me a check to print off for the sum of $4950 that I deposited in my bank account. It was approved by my bank and I then put the money into Cash App as per their request to send it to the alleged vendor for the equipment to begin the remote position. After I sent the money the check was claimed fraudulent by my bank and I am now sitting at around negative $3000 in my bank account.
