- Downers Grove, IL, USA • Dec 30, 2024

They advertised as spark paws on Instagram. The link shows spark paws logo and has identical look to their website.

- Elgin, IL, USA • Dec 30, 2024

This company sends products that are plastic and horrible. They have false advertising and obviously AI generated comments as they were wonderful when I ordered, Now all reviews are discussing the poor quality. They have responded to emails about returning at first but never gave an address etc. to do so. Now I hear nothing. I don’t want others to fall for the same scam. I have since cancelled my credit card as I don’t want them having my info.

- Lockport, IL, USA • Dec 24, 2024

Bought a children's smart phone in early December and sent numerous emails with them bouncing back undeliverable and I have no product and lost my money.

- Chicago, IL, USA

Looked to have a legitimate web site. However, after further review I noticed question marks when I did additional research. Strictly my fault for jumping to soon!

As I tried to reach out, there were no communications. I cancelled my credit card that was used and notified the credit card company to dispute the issue.

Sent notice to the Bourbon of Jack that I was making this notification with no response.

Clearly a scam organization.

- Lansing, IL, USA

Fake company. Selling items that never get shipped.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I placed an order on halitdom.com for Comfrt brand sweatshirts and sweatpants. Then, I received a tracking number to track my order through track718 and waited 31 days. Finally, at 2 a.m., they emailed me saying my order was delivered, which I found strange. I never got it.

- Chicago, IL, USA

They used an ad on Facebook pretending to be SparkPaws. The ad led to a website that was also branded to look like SparkPaws. I should have paid closer attention at the time, but everything looked like the SP site I’d visited before. I placed an order and it said it’d be 2-3 days shipping. When they emailed tracking info I got suspicious—it was clearly coming from China and did not look like a SparkPaws order. I got busy with the holidays and after a couple of weeks realized I still hadn’t gotten that package, even though the tracker said delivered. At this point I reached out to the service address in the email (definitely not SparkPaws), and asked for a refund. They offered to re-ship the order or see if they could find “another solution.” I have responded that I only want a refund.

- Sellersburg, IN, USA

I made contact to several companies for the purchase of used auto body parts for my 2012 Mercedes R-350 vehicle hitting a dear. Henry was my contact person and talking with him I became able to trust him to be honest and ordered my auto parts thru him through the company he was representing, Performance Auto Salvage. After making my payment communication with him changed. He would take my calls and have many excuses on the delay but was working on getting the parts. Then he told me that he was unable to deliver and would provide a full credit back to me. I made contact to the Better Business Bureau to help me get my refund, in which Performance Auto Salvage told the Better Business Bureau that they had the intent to send me my refund check since Performance Auto Salvage was unable to deliver the auto body parts that I requested, Then after many calls, the credit changed to nothing, and gave me the excuse that I canceled the order and the cost of restocking was equal to the value of my order, therefore no refund credit would be offered. This time took over six(6) months of hoping that I would get my parts or my full refund. This company is a total fraud.

- Northville, MI, USA

After a month, I emailed customer service. They said updated information would come in 2-4 days. After continued emails asking for refund they only assure it’s coming and there is a big volume. No refund and no product.

- Springfield, OR, USA

I ordered a product online that it turns out is counterfeit. I requested a cancellation of my order immediately- but no reply. Directions were given for returning product- which I followed by emailing the address given and requesting a return label. No response.

- Scranton, PA, USA

I did not signed up for a subscription from this company. And they have taken 3 payments from me. 10/02 ****** 11/01 ****** and 11/29 ******. When you try to contact them all it says this number is not in service.

- Dover, NH, USA

Bought two pedicure massage chairs from Hummers Beauty. A real looking site with reviews and an address! They sent a receipt but no tracking information. They did send me an email saying the delivery date would be November 25th, Steve Walsh, Sales executive, 224-795-8000, www.hummersbeauty.com was used in that email. When they weren't delivered by the time they said they would be there they directed me to the "delivery company". "delivery company" said they would call when 30 minutes away, then they got into an accident and couldn't deliver the chairs. Soon to be found out it was a scam.

- Melrose Park, IL, USA

Ordered product online, Twice the shipping carrier "Better Trucks" misplaced the package. Searched google reviews for the business and it appears an overwhelming majority of receivers don't get their packages. An alarmingly high percentage of people to be specific. It would appear this shipping carrier rarely delivers packages. Potentially is a setup as a ring to steal from people. It does not seem possible in any world they can be so wildly unsuccessful doing what they are contracted to. Reviewers also note that delivery drivers frequently arrive at a destination and leave without an attempt to make a delivery and then their packages are gone and never delivered. Something isn't right with this business. They have been doing the same thing for years, it's not growing pains. They should not be able to continue to take receiver and vendors items by contract and continue to make these packages vanish? Where do they all end up?

It's incredible they are allowed to get away with this.

A family member in a Chicago recovery home tried to buy k2, an illegal substance in Illinois. The individual from the website tried to have a picture of a bank card sent for payment and ultimately got a cash app sent to his “friend” and then never responded. This website is frauding individuals and seemingly trying to sell k2 even in states where it is illegal. Hoping you can have something done as they are preying on desperate individuals.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I purchased a pair of shoes, t-shirt, and a button that I saw in a Facebook ad. I received an email with tracking information, but I never received the items. I emailed the company the other day regarding this. I was told that the items were delivered and that I should check with my local post office. The tracking information I looked at does not show that the items were delivered.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I ordered the product via the site and never got a shipping date I tried to reach out via email and no response.

- Morton Grove, IL, USA

Advertising on Facebook Marketplace as Wayfair. It is not Wayfair.com, rather wayfairstyles.com and wayfairhomefurnish.com. Tons of people will be scammed by this. It needs to be taken down. BEWARE!!

- Berwyn, IL, USA

On FB/IG, offering all clothing discount of $7.77 for Talbots 77th Anniversary sale.

- Waukegan, IL, USA

Ordered a "colorful natural mineral mug" and received a shoddily painted mug seemingly made of resin. Attempted to post a review with pictures on the website, but the review was hidden. They only post five star reviews, and I suspect many of those reviews are fake. They claim to have A+ ScamPulse.com accreditation. Any attempts to contact them through e-mail have failed. They have no phone number.
