She is advertising to provide braiding services and requesting a deposit. The deposit was paid and the day of the appointment, she texted and said that the night before she was scammed and requires that the full amount is paid. Appointment time came and she disappeared.

She promoted her services as a beautician on Instagram, directing clients to book appointments by texting her number and sending a booking fee through Chime or Apple Pay. I paid the deposit via Apple Pay, and she confirmed receipt, setting my appointment for for September 10th. However, the following day, she texted me, claiming that two clients had previously left without paying for services. As a result, she contacted the police and implemented a new policy requiring full payment upfront before providing any services. I requested a refund due to this sudden change, but she refused and subsequently blocked me on social media and over the phone. There is no policy on webpage.
