I attempted to buy a pair of Altra sneakers. I was on Google Shopping and Halmshaws.com was featured, displaying the sneakers at a low price. I clicked through to the website and made a purchase. After entering my credit card information, I received a screen (though no email) with a confirmation which you find attached. Today I called Halmshaws to learn about my order status but the phone number on their website is fake. I subsequently googled their address, displaying another store named Halo to see if they have any affiliation with Halmshaws. The Halo manager confirmed they have NO affiliation and that Halmshaws.com is a scam...and that Halo had already reported Halmshaws.com to BBB. Today I also cancelled/disputed my credit card payment and, while looking at my online statement, it seems Halmshaws is associated with a company in Hong Kong -- or perhaps that is simply where the credit card was purchased.
