NP Group or NPG group LLC. Has been harassing my wife about a payday loan. My wife has never had a payday loan. They have violated the fair debt collection act also by harassing family and work place. We do not take loans and plan to sue upon one more call. This company is a scam to harass you into giving them money. Will not send information by mail because they know that is mail fraud a federal crime. They will rotate out their contact numbers sometimes up to 5 times a day.

His called several family members and other states trying to look for me does asking a lot of personal inappropriate questions to family members and myself. Refuses to send me any kind of information on the debt refuses to answer any kind of questions just argues. I've asked several times for a bill in the mail they refused to send it because they say why would they send it if I'm just not going to pay even though I've never said that then they just want to ask me will I pay it. I have no doubt of a loan with this company they say it's from 8 years ago but will not give me any proof. They have hung up a few times refusing to give me any information besides just a verbal amount of the debt. They continue to call and harass family members looking for me even though they have my phone number already I am also concerned because they claimed that there proof that the debt is real was because they knew my social security number when I asked them what it was they actually did know it. I did not confirm that it was correct though they still receive fuse to send me any information on the debt.

I have been receiving calls from an automated system saying they're trying to get ahold of me for the last few days not only on my phone but my family and friends as well. Each time I press 0 to speak with someone I get the same guy every time which is really weird. It's from a payday loan from 2011 for $450 witch in the city California you can only get a payday loan for $255 so I don't know how that happened. I've never taken out a payday loan but I do shop a lot online so I think that's where my identity was stolen. I asked for proof to be mailed to me and all they say they could do is refer me to their website where I can insert my social security number and other information which gee I'm not dumb to do that. Or they could send me an email which I don't want them to have my email either. I told them it was a scam and I know it's a scam so why did they keep trying to get money for me I'm not going to give in.

They are stating I owe 750 dollars from a cash advance loan from 2012. Also stating I defaulted on the terms, by having a recurring payment declined due to insufficient funds after making an initial payment. I have no recollection of taking such a loan, and they couldn't give me specific details, while the amount owed was negotiable and I have no record of previous communication with them although they alleged they sent me notices a month ago.

This company keeps calling me and members of my extended family using the words "law" and "whereabouts". They ask for personal information. They refuse to send a letter that I can look at regarding the matter they claim they have at hand, so it can be examined by a lawyer. They have asked for money, and refuse to properly identify themselves.

This company is contacting everyone I have had contact with (ex boyfriend, ex husband, mother, husbands grandmother) and not myself stating I took a pay day loan out in 2008 and then this time it was 2012 and never paid $300 debt. I have never taken out a pay day loan and told them that. They continue to ask how I'm going to take care of this debt. Since I refuse to pay debt I never made and is not even showing on my credit report, they are now calling more people every day. I've spoken to Jonathan, Michael and another girl who swear, hang up on me, etc. I'm extremely frustrated and don't know how to get the harassing calls to stop.

A person named Justin from the company has been calling my family members stating I owe a debt from a payday loan I apparently took out in 2012. He even goes on to state that they are going to take legal actions against me. I called the number back and he wanted me to verify information that do not match me. The time he stated I took out the loan, I was a junior in high school and not even 18 yet. I kept telling him this and when I finally gave up and said to mail me information or take the legal actions, he hung up on me.

A Mr. Thompson called a neighbor (661) 942-9504 looking for me stating they need me to call (844) 441-6987 and ask for case #56673 and if i don't call them back I will be served. They did not leave a company name. I looked up this number on the internet and it said this company was calling people saying they owed payday loans and the company was a NP Group. I didn't called them back but filed a complaint with the FTC (877) 382-4357 case #79204871.

This company keeps calling me saying that I owe money to the following three agencies: Oakwood Services LLC in the amount of $510.00 for loans supposedly taken out in 2011 & 2012, Cardinal Management in the amount of $480 for loans supposedly taken out in 2011 & 2012 and finally Compass Capital LLC in the amount of $540 both of which were supposedly taken out in 2012. I did not take out these loans, they cannot seem to supply me with any information but seem to have a lot of personal information about me. They have threatened to "track me down" and if I do not take care of these loans they will go after the other references on my loans

They called and left a message and said they need to find (my name) and they are legally authorized to contact all references. When I called them back and asked what company they were with they hung up on me... this happened 4 times. Eventually I got their name, the website they told me to go to and all the information about the "payday loans" that I never paid back. Then they said some things about how payday loans end up being from multiple lenders all at the same time and they must all be paid back not just the one. The companies that are listed as original creditors can't seem to be found either.

Received a very threatening call from "NP Group" claiming I owe a debt for some online payday loan. I have never had such a thing. When asked if they could mail me proof they said and I quote "yea that's not gonna happen". They only said they could email it to an account I do have and have no clue how they have all my info. When I told them no I'm not even considering paying anything until I have proof I was then told "I know your story you can't pay bills and you won't pay this so stop wasting my time, I deal with callers like you all day". The beginning of the call said if I didn't verify who I am they will call relatives to contact me. They claim I owe $500 which I know for a fact I do not. The number they called me from is 877 439 8895

I received a call from 1-877-439-8895 saying they were from NP Group, calling on behalf of Laser (Lazer) Lending, and they were calling about a payday loan that was taken out in 2009 that had never been collected on. Neither I nor my husband have ever taken out a payday loan. They have called 4 times harassing me about setting up a payment plan as soon as possible.

Friends received telephone calls stating they were required to call 877-412-8533 and provide information to my whereabouts. Friends called me with the number. I contacted the number and they answered as "NP Group," and stated that I had a debt they needed to collect. Agent then tried to coerce bank information from me to pay the debt without telling me to whom the debt was owed or how much it was. Asking questions resulted in threatening language. Hung up and blocked number.

Company calling themselves The NP Group called my Mother first asking abut my whereabouts and gave her the number (877)253-4764 for me to call. I immediately called the number and spoke to a Lisa Hernandez who proceeded to tell me that a company called Cardinal Management (a Google search yields a hundred different property management companies all over the US using that name) loaned me $350 in January 2013 and they only received one payment of $50 in February of 2013. The had my name, my phone number, my mother's phone number, my email address, the last 4 of my social, the last 3 digits of my bank account and my bank name. Upon inspection of my bank statement from those dates, I did not receive any money from any such organization, nor did I pay any such organization. They were requesting a payoff amount of $320 to settle the claim that was supposedly up to $600. I requested written confirmation of the debt in email form or which I have not received. Multiple calls back to the organization were not picked up, after a half dozen calls, I did get in touch with another person who confirmed the name of the company as The NP Group.

I received a call from the "NP Group" stating they were trying to locate me based on a claim against me, they asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social. The number was 1-877-372-2597. I provided no information they told me they were out of New York, I told them I needed to verify there information and hung up.

Threatening voice mail. We are desparately trying to reach xxxx (me). We will be forced to use other resources to contact xxxx (me). Whether you know or do not of their whereabouts, please call 877-386-5224. Phone number on caller ID 877-372-2597. Called back after hours. Recording said NP Group on EST. Called again this morning. Person answered "Hello?" as if I were calling a personal phone number. I asked the name of the company, They gave me a claim #, not for me, but for one of my family members. Instructed me to call 877-253-4764 with the claim#. When I called the latter phone number and gave the claim# as instructed, a different person answered, matched my phone number from their caller ID, not based on the claim #, and referenced my family member who does not live with me. They said they were trying to file a claim on her behalf, and that she should call back immediately. I recognized it as a scam and did not pursue anything further.

Dial 0 to speak with a representative or call 877-386-5224. If you are unable to provide any information please call the office regardless at 877-386-5224. Your immediate response is appreciated. When the number was called it says it's the NP group. They said we owed from a loan from the bank. Gave them our info and set up a payment plan. The contact name was Lisa Hernandez extension 306. However when we called back to make sure no one answers. We contacted our bank and they said we never owed anything in that amount. Not sure if it's a scam or not but it sure feels like one.

I received a voicemail from a phone number calling themselves 'NP Group.' When I called them back they said that they were calling in regards to several large claims against me. However, they would offer up no information regarding any of it. They did have the last 4-digits of my SSN. But, I did not offer up any other information knowing that it was a scam. I told them I would call them back after I looked up their company information. I entered the number into Google and, sure enough, there were several other reports all in the last 3 days saying the same things.
