The website is on the Nile’s utility page to pay your electric bill. It’s an ad that is very small and pre marked. When you pay your bill they try to charge you $349.00 to your account for Norton services. When you call and tell them you didn’t order it they tell you to download an app so they can see your bank account and there will be a box for you to check yes or no. They said to check yes. I didn’t do that and immediately contacted my bank to look out for the charge. They never took the money but they might take someone else’s money who trust they are talking to Norton security. Now they keep contacting me about 349.00 being taken from my account if I do not contact them in 24 hours.

On December 8th, I got an email from [email protected], pretending to be "Norton Security" saying they were going to renew my contract for $363 for one year, and to call 855-447-7987 if I required "urgent assistance for refund or settlement issues". I called and spoke to a man for two hours, I kept getting transferred around. He asked me to log into my account. He asked me to fill out a form which included my social security number, last 4 digits of my bank, & my date of birth. He said he would refund my $363. Then I saw a cursor on my screen that said "Geek", so I hopped on my other computer, and called the bank, who said to hang up because they were moving $11,000 out of my account. Since then they call, text and email demanding their money every day. I took my computer to my local repair guy who removed their stuff for $200. They also sent me an email pretending to be my bank.

I called this number 800 -680- 7237 to ask about a charge for life lock and was asked to let them access my computer remotely and they made a fake deposit for 1400 dollars to my account and to go to Walmart and get two gift cards for 500.00 a piece since the deposit wasn't legit I couldn't use a check because the amount has to be done with a debit card so they told me to go and get 3 100 .00 google play cards which I did and called back after I realized that I was scammed out of My money asked to let them access my computer again which I refused and told him he was not legit and had stolen from me here is the other phone number (917) - 737-4550 and when I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor was told that I was chatting with one and they hung up on me some one I was chatting with earlier today online told me that the 800 680 7237 was legit so long story short I was just scammed out of the money I was going to use to move

On March 24th, we received an email from Your Product Order advising that our subscription to Norton Security was due in the amount of $599.99. The message said that if we did not authorize this renewal, to call *************

The next day I called & was advised that the $599.99 had already been charged to our checking account but they would refund it. The person I spoke to (Shane ********) then said that he mistakenly made a deposit to our account for $6000, not $600.00. He explained that Regions Bank had a rule that only $940.00 could be withdrawn from the account per day. I received a call then on my husband's cell phone from Regions Bank asking that I approve of a withdrawal for $940.00 via Western Union. I did this again today, March 25th. I became suspicious because of how long it took to get anything done. Shane would tell me to keep our computer on so they could do what they needed to do. I finally just opened our bank information & discovered there was no deposit made for $6,000.00 but there were the two withdrawals of $940.00. Finally I got smart (can't believe I was so stupid!), How do we get our money back?

I am 71 years old and during this pandemic it is very upsetting to get a e-mail that is a scam. I got an e-mail from Norton Security Plus, [email protected] telling me they are taking $ 245 out of my account because they automatically renew my subscription for 5 more years. They also said the $245 will show up in my account NEXT MONTH. There phone number is 1-559-223-3282 and address is 201 Hughes Street, Jefferson, Texas 75657. I have attached a copy of their e-mail and e-mails I sent them. I called them at the phone number above and left a message and I have been calling and no response.

I cancelled and closed my account with Norton in 2015 and I never had automatic renewal. The above company knew my e-mail address, my credit card number, and my name.

I called another phone number connected to Norton on the website and they told me the e-mail was a scam. Please help me - I do not have $245. Thank you and be safe.
