I received an email telling me that an unauthorized charge of $1348.73 was attempted to my PayPal account and asked you to click a link to sign into PayPal but it was off a little bit. The phone number they list to call is for a Piano Company in New York.

On April 22, 2025, I received an email from [email protected] stating:

"Critical Alert: Possible unauthorized transaction. Call PayPal Billing at 1-888-673-8951..." (Google draws an absolute blank on this number!)

It goes on to state charge was made at the Apple Store..."...contact us immediately.invited you as a developer..." That last "developer" bit is certainly suspicious!

I reported to "[email protected]" as stated on the verified PayPal website, then deleted the email.

Received 3 emails, weeks apart that appeared to be a PayPal invoice from Palomino Bazaar. Amount due was 1042.49. Invoice number on first two emails was 0002, on the third it was 0115. I called the listed phone number that was a Note from Seller asking if it was an unrecognmized transaction and listed the phone number 1-833-460-0111. I called it from a secure phone and the recorded message said it was Paypal customer service and it transferred me to another line. (it wasn't). Email includes a link to click for Buyer Protection, which is likely phishing. Paypal confirmed there was no invoice on my account and did not see any breaches in my account. It does look very legitimate in the logo.

Received multiple emails appearing to be from PayPal and indicating they were invoices from Palomino Bazaar for different amounts all around $1650

This was the second attempt. I forwarded the first one to PayPal's fraud department.

First attempt the "invoice" from Palomino Bazaar LLC was for $1032.19, Invoice number 0368 (Note: no TRX#, on this one), Phone number: (888) 506-9597 (received 3/6 - 10:19am)

Second one from Palomino Bazaar LLC was for $1062.99, Invoice number TRX-#4707. Phone number: (888) 247-0669

Received two copies of the last one today. One at 1:49pm EST and the second on at 2:36pm EST today (3/7). The two from today appear to be identical.
