I looked up the customer service number on my phone and ended up calling the scammers by mistake, which I didn't know at the time. They said I was only able to login to a limited number of devices at a time. I must have given them my login or something because as soon as I refused to pay for the supposed one time fee, they disconnected all my devices. I guess I panicked and just gave in cause I paid what they asked. It wasn't until I got home that I started putting everything together and realized I got scammed. They sent me a receipt and everything.
I changed all my passwords and everything has been fine since.
Since then, they have called me on my cell 2 or 3 times reminding me that I need to pay them or my service will be cut off again. I get into a little back and forth, use some really choice profanities, and then challenge them to go ahead and cut it off. Of course they don't because I changed all my passwords. Fool me once...
I hope some of this helps to catch these [censored].
