I received a grandparent scam phone call on my landline about four days ago. The caller said Hi Grandma. How are you doing? Grandma you know what. I said I'm not a grandma. The caller hung up. I do not have the phone number that called. Other people could call for this. I had one of these grandparent scam calls about a year ago.

I have my phone programmed to show possible scams. It will show different states. Illinois, California, New York, Ohio. I answered the call from Ohio. I said hello. Nobody said anything. I hung up. I do not have the phone numbers that call.

I bought a new Packard Bell laptop and was setting it up on about June 11th. I received a pop up on my screen. The pop up stated to call for computer protection. It did not give a company name. I did not click on the pop up. I called the number on the pop up. 800-660-3498. I paid them $598.95 for computer protection. I gave my debit card number. $598.95 was taken out of my account. About a month later I received a phone call to receive a refund. The call came from 917-781-9012. The representative was John. He asked for my debit card number to get my refund of $598.95. The money was to be in my account in three day. It is now seven days later and no refund. I gave my debit card number out again. I never received my refund. He keeps trying to call me to give me the refund. .

My friend in Atlanta, GA told me on Facebook Messenger about a Government Grant. He told me how to get government money without having to pay it back. He got a $100,000 Government Grant. Humanitarian Funding. I think he paid $ 1500. He told me to contact Government Broker. Sloane Davis. He provided a link. website. I knew it was a scam when he wanted $1500. Wanted me to buy an American Express card at CVS. I was to call him back and give the numbers off the back of the card. This when I knew it was a scam. I do not have his phone number. He never gave it to him. His contact information website facebook.com/sloane-davis1048455204933104 I had given my name, address and email.

I received a call from a man by the name of Daniel Martin, he presented his badge ID number as BC12577 and provided me with a case number BX7010. He told me they found a vehicle registered rental in my name south of the boarder in texas and that the car was involved in drug activity. He also told me I have several charges against me because of this drug activity. I have never been to Texas before. He asked me for my social security number and I do not know what it is so I did not have that information on me so I did not tell him. He named several banks that my name was associated with, which none of them were correct. He wanted to know if I had a checking or savings account and wanted to know how much cash I had on me right now. He also asked if I had an IRA account as well. After I told him the information he said he was going to connect me to a senior officer. When the call was transferred I was hung up on. I tried calling the phone number that just called me and I told them my name and they hung up on me. I am disabled and a senior

Door-to-door representative of a solar company (I don't remember the name, and they left no business card) asked if I'd be interested in a free consultation about the option to install solar on our home. He asked me to retrieve my electric bill while he took a picture of my meter. He then took a picture of my electric bill. It had no financial information on it, but it did have my home address and utility account number. He scheduled another person to come out to our house to speak with us in the next day our two. We settled on a day and time, but the person never showed, called, or followed up.

I'm not sure what they can do with the personal information from my utility bill, but they have it now.

I think I may have gotten involved in a home improvement scam. They were working at my neighbors house. I spoke with them. He was repairing her gutters. The man I spoke with was talking with Jose on the phone. I gave this man $600 cash. That was my stimulus money. He did not give me a receipt. He said he would.It. I hired them to clean and repair my gutters. They were also to replace my gutters. They left them loose. Very sloppy and broken. They also left an opening in the front of my house. I never got my receipt, This was done on June 4th. When I call he never comes back as promised with my receipt or to repair. I told him you can't leave that like that, I contacted my Council lady. I am a senior. He may do this to another senior. I do not have an address or company name. Just Jose and phone number 216-688-7880.

I received a phone call. I don't know the name of the company. Caller said I won $2 million and a Mercedes Benz . The people said they were on the way to deliver my prizes. Their phone number is 317-785-0237. I was dealing with David Green 248-618-2309. They wanted the numbers off the cards they had me purchase. $200 Vanilla card and $50 gold card. I called the numbers on the cards and reported it. The money was for the car to be transferred. I bought the cards two weeks ago. I called them and gave the numbers. This person calls me constantly to get my money back. 725-800-3793. I reported this to the Police. They said it is fraud and nothing they could do.

tI purchased two (2) wigs in April from a site on Facebook Marketplace and paid them through PayPal $63.98. It was June and I had not received them yet. So I went through PayPal to see if they could get it resolved. They company (whose name is in Chinese letters) claimed they mailed them to me; which I never received the tracking information and it is not on the website like the other purchased that I made through PayPay. I had received a $3.00 ponytail which I was not sure where that came from because I did not order that. I did not get my money back and probably won't. I want to inform people about this company whom I don't know the name of but have the Chinese symbols of the company name.
