An important call from the legal department the very second you receive this message you need to consider it a priority ...kindly we would like to confirm some information with you before taking legal action and if you speak to our agent, please press 1

I did not press 1...and suspect it is a scam of some sort.

Somebody told me I could report scam calls to the BBB. I answered a call on my cell phone. My caller ID showed 715-507-5115. If the caller gave a company name I did not hear it. Taking $349 out of my account. I thought he said regarding taxes for protection on my computer. It did not make sense to me. He said that he could cancel the charge and it would be better if I got on my computer. I started typing what he said. This did not seem right to me. I said this sounds like a scam. He called me a name. He used profanity and hung up. This is very upsetting. I called the Lorain, OH police and reported it.

I received a phone call. $349 was going to be charged to my account unless I call the number back. It gave phone number 208-684-7357. Did not give a company name. I usually don't answer calls. I was waiting for a call. I called the number back. A man answered. He said he did not know anything. The call disconnected. I did not provide any personal information. I usually receive five to seven robocalls a day.

I received several calls from a police station. Warrant for my arrest. I don't know what they are talking about. I tried to call the phone number back. 267-996-2018. The call did not go through.

I keep getting phone calls from 843-890-3456 on my home phone. It comes up as Spam Risk. I do not answer the calls. They call two or three times a day. This has been going on a couple of weeks.

I answered a call on my home phone last night at 11:00. Callers name was Tony Clark. He did not give a company name. He stated I won a prize for shopping in different stores. He may have said I won $10,000 and a car. He gave phone number 806-391-2362. He wanted me to go to Walgreen or CVS. Buy $250 in Vanilla Cards and call him back. I wanted to report the call. I know it is a scam.

I keep getting calls that my bank accounts will be shut down. I'm hoping it is a hoax. The caller was a captain in the military. I think he said US Army. Closing my bank accounts press one. I pressed one. Nobody was on the line. It scared me. If I did not press one my accounts would be defunct. I do not have their phone number.

It started with a Facebook Messenger from my friend. I called phone number 781-613-0801. Stated I won $75,500. I pay $500. FedEx will then deliver my prize. I spoke with Agent David Robinson. He told me not to tell anybody. At first I thought this was real. I did not send any money. they needed a picture of my drivers license. I texted my drivers license to them. I know this is a scam. It sounds too good to be true.

Consumer rec'd call from "business" engaging in very pushy sales tactics. Attempted to sell consumer mortgage insurance, did not care that consumer is in assisted living and does not have mortgage. Asked for supervisor and "sales rep" disconnected. Did not/would not identify a business name, consumer does not recall any individual names provided either.

I am reporting a scam call I answered on my cell phone. The caller said something like Federal Department. I am not certain. Someone had stolen my identity. Issuing a warrant for my arrest. The caller asked my name and I gave it out. I wish I had not done that. I hung up. The phone number in my caller ID was 203-334-9188.

I had a weird phone call today. I think it is a scam. The phone number in my caller ID was 213-524-1395. I answered the call. It was difficult to understand. I did not hear a company name. Sounded like a recording. If I did not pay $499 the money would be taken out of my checking account. I called the number back. A man answered. I could hear a room full of people. I hung up.

We received a message on our answering machine. The message stated to confirm your transaction hang up. Otherwise call back 872-766-4538. It was the same phone number in the caller ID. It may have been a robocall. I did not call the number. What made me suspicious is they never identified themselves. I'm very skeptical. I'm curious but I know about scams.

I wanted to report a phone number that keeps calling. 440-313-4145. I do not have the name of the company. I answered one of the calls. Nobody was on the line. The message Spam Risk shows on my TV Screen.

I keep receiving collection calls for someone named Valerie. I do not have the company name. They use many phone numbers. February 11 they called from 844-466-5519. They keep calling over and over. They also called from 216-755-5793. I tried to call the number back. The number could not be completed as dialed. Another number was 215-918-4022.

I have been receiving robocalls on my cell phone. A police officer was calling. Someone filed a complaint or report against me. Press one to speak with an officer. I pressed number one. A man came on the line. He wanted to verify my name address and Social Security number. I hung up. I did not give any information. I thought why would a police officer contact me.

I just received a letter post marked September 2, 2020 from Portugal. It was from Elena Morato. She is in top management with a Financial Institution in Barcelona Spain. Alfred Mathews with the same last mine as mine died March 11, 2014. He was an American citizen with the same last name as mine. I private investigator contacted me. The entire family died in a car accident March 11. 2014 in Portugal. He had about $27 million in the bank. They will provide additional information once I contact them. Their phone number is 01134 631 702 041. email is [email protected] I receive 40%. She receives 50%. 10% goes to charity in Spain or United States. I am reporting the mail. I did not respond.

I received an unemployment mailing from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Dayton. It contained a password and pin number. I don't work. I am disabled. I don't know what is going on here.
